A few of my favourite books

This is actually the first hub im writing on books.. im a book fanatic.. if it was up to me I could read books day and night. well actually i do go through a phase once in a while where i read all day and finish a book in a couple of hours.. my ideal hot afternoon is reading a good book with a couple of cans of coke in my back garden.. anyways, one of the best books i have ever read is Gold Diggers by Tasmina Perry. this is a perfect glamorous read which takes you on a journey of the lives of the super rich.. this is one of those books that plunges the reader into a world of sex, merder and betrayal. another one of the books that comes in the same category is Private members by leonie fox.. again its perfect to read in summer and lifts your mood.. this takes you through the rich and pampered life of four best friends.. one of the best qualities i like about these books is that they both go in detail about fashion and prices of clothes, jewellery, cars etc.. personally i love the authors that do this as it realy takes you in awe that can someone realy spend this much on a certain thing..

Another one of my favourite authors is Patricia cornwell. My favourite book written by her is Postmortem. this is a book that no one can mess with, i mean its so scary that i only read one ot two chapters at a time. Its about a serial killer on the loose who rapes and brutally kills three women. Chief medical officer Dr Kay scarpetta is the one figure that patricia cornwell writes about throughout all her books. I love these books and im realy trying to get my hand on all of them.

No one can argue that there is anything more romantic than reading a good old Mills and Boon.. Alot of these are a bit over the top and totally unrealistic but i still cant help myself reading these from time to time. these are the kind of books that make you smile for ten minutes after reading it.

If you are one of those people that start crying or get upset after reading a certain book then join the club. i read A child called IT by Dave pelzer and burst into tears whilst reading it. It is one of the most heart wrenching books i have ever read.. it takes you through the life of a young boy who is starved beaten and abused by his mentally disturbed mother. This is a book that you should only read if youre prepared to shed a few tears.

Books can divert your attention from anything.. Reading a good romantic book can lift your mood, whereas reading a horror can gat you chilling for a bit.  i read all types of books.  Autobiographies are one of my favourites, thats because im a nosy person.  Reading certainly does create a different atmosphere around you so people get reading.
